Concerts
at the Hill
Concerts at the Hill, part of the Western Society of Chamber Music, is a program with two distinct missions: to provide area musicians with a friendly environment in which to perform, and to provide the community with a free afternoon concert series. The series hosts monthly recitals, typically on the last week of the month. The goal is to advance the art of chamber music, and to make people aware of this beautiful artistic genre.

The first half of each concert is reserved for student or amateur ensembles or soloists, while the second half features a professional guest ensemble. This gives students a chance to learn the art of performing, and to learn from watching more experienced performances.  The program is open to all types of instrumental and vocal chamber music.

The Merton E. Hill Auditorium in Ontario, California, is the venue and namesake of this series. It is an ideal venue for chamber music, with 600 seats and a balcony. There is a comfortably-sized stage, as well as a large performance area on the ground level. The auditorium houses a  grand piano, which is played at every concert.  We are always seeking out new performance groups. Contact us for for more information on how you can perform at Hill Auditorium!
